I was fortunate enough to attend the festival in Bolzano. I was welcomed by all the staff, it was an absolute pleasure to be invited and attend.  I wish I could have stayed for the whole festival.

On the ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival website, one of the judges on the Driven Creativity Competition has commented on Hayfever. Charles Haine who is an award-winning film Director and Director of Photography had the following to say:

“Hayfever does a great job of taking a tool intended for one effect and using it in an unintended fashion to create a fantastic new sensation. The textures and motion of the footage of natural scenes simultaneously calls our attention to its inherent beauty, but also alienates it from us through a layer of technology. I found myself viewing the natural world around me with a fresh perspective after enjoying this film.”

I’m very flattered and quite chuffed how much exposure Hayfever has got.

I’m pretty chuffed that I won the amateur film category in G-Technology’s Driven Creativity competition. I have won a 4TB hard drive with my work being exhibited to the public at The Brick Lane Gallery. I also have an invite to meet the judges and other winners and runners up.

Hayfever to be screened in Quebec City’s artist center named Le Cercle. Hayfever will be displayed in their open video gallery in their restaurant. It will be displayed on a 39 feet panoramic screen that can be used to display triptych or large scale panoramic works. The exhibition is free of charge to the public and will be screened everyday until the end of October. If you’re in the Quebec please check it out on behalf of me.

I recently upgraded to Vimeo Plus, by looking through the enhanced statistics I found that Cambodia had been embedded on to P Diddy’s official blog.  I doubt that he is actually blogging but pretty funny either way

I found a blog about my Cambodia video, this guy is a Khmer (Cambodian) and has written some very flattering things:

“…Few days ago, I found a short film. It is totally filmed in Cambodia, by a professional photographer from London. He spent two weeks in Cambodia. He went back and edited the film. The result of his work is fabulous. After watching it, it refreshed me and made me more proud of myself, my country and my people…”
